Lucy Anne Reflexology

Reflexology in West Sussex and South West London

What I Offer

My treatments are gentle and grounding. I offer Reflexology, Facial Reflexology or a combination of the two.

The first treatment will last 75 mins to include a brief consultation so I can understand your medical history and what you hope to gain from the visit.

Subsequent treatments will last for 60mins.

Depending on your reason for coming, I will advise an appropriate treatment plan. This may be a series of weekly sessions to encourage a change in your symptom pattern, or monthly sessions may be more appropriate to ward off ailments and provide longer-term support.

Reflexology

Reflexology encourages your body and mind to return to a place of calm and balance. We call this homeostasis - the state of balance within all physical systems needed for a body to function properly. I trained under Louise Keet at the London School of Reflexology and am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).

My Reflexology treatments are gentle and grounding and can be adapted for wherever you are. I have a portable chair but can also treat you from your own bed if that would be helpful. Using a range of balms and oils, scented and unscented, and through applying gentle pressure I will work through the reflexes, feeling for any imbalances.

All treatments will finish with some feedback and holistic wellbeing suggestions.

I hold additional qualifications in Hand and Spinal Reflexology and can tailor a treatment to incorporate elements of this where appropriate:

Spinal Reflexology

This powerful form of reflexology can be included in a foot treatment to stimulate the spinal nerve root reflexes on the feet helping identify reflexes out of balance. Conversely, existing back issues may be compressing nerve roots inhibiting the proper functioning of organs in the rest of the body.

Hand Reflexology

Hand reflexology has been used successfully to support a range of stress related conditions. The hands are closer to the heart and central nervous system and this add-on treatment can often have a more immediate relaxing effect on the client. Hand reflexes are also easier to access and therefore helpful for aftercare.

Some patients do not enjoy having their feet touched, others might have an injury to their feet or a condition that prevents a foot treatment.

Hand reflexology can be given either as a stand-alone treatment or in combination with a Foot and Facial reflexology treatment where appropriate.

Facial Reflexology

Facial reflexology is a gentle and beautifully relaxing treatment. I am a qualified practitioner in the Bergman Zone Advanced Facial Reflexology Method, developed by award winning Reflexologist Ziggy Bergman.

Using a specially formulated elixir containing a blend of scented essential oils infused with white sage, gentle pressure is applied with the fingers to the reflex points, facial muscles and nerves of the face stimulating the body to rebalance and repair. These reflex points correspond to different areas of the body to help stimulate the body’s healing mechanisms. This helps provide deep relaxation to the mind and body, and improves circulation and nerve conduction, encouraging the release of toxins from the body, via the lymphatic system.

Not only is it particularly helpful in treating certain conditions such as migraines, sinus conditions, bruxism, and bells palsy, this meditative treatment helps relieve tension and stress in the muscle tissues of the face.

An added benefit is the stimulation of facial muscles to lift and plump the skin revealing a more radiant and glowing complexion. It has a direct rejuvenating effect on the skin, stimulating the production of elastin and collagen, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improving your skin tone.

This treatment finishes with feedback and some holistic lifestyle suggestions where appropriate.
